TODD DEZAGO
Todd Dezago grew up reading comic books in (what was once) a small town in upstate NY. He went to school for Acting and Theater, but disliked the LA lifestyle and returned home to the Hudson Valley. He's worked in direct care with mentally and emotionally disturbed kids, sold building materials to contractors and homeowners alike, worked construction, landscaping, lumberjacking, and writing comics. Since then he's also been teaching story structure and the language of comics in both college and high school settings.
He started writing professionally in 1994 for Marvel when he was fortunate enough to step in to replace JM DeMatteis on X-Factor. From there he worked on most all of the X-Books and eventually was offered work in the Spider-Man Offices. It was there he was teamed up with artist Mike Wieringo and, after a long run on Sensational Spider-Man, they went off to create our own book, Tellos, which they published through Image Comics. He's also worked for DC Comics, most recently finishing up a 40 issue run on Impulse.
