Internationally published as an artist and writer at the age of nineteen, Christian Gossett was one of the first designers hired by Lucasfilm Licensing to 'retro-design' the Star Wars galaxy in 1993. The Phantom Menace includes Gossett's work, in the form of Darth Maul's now-famous 'double-edged lightsabre'.

His latest project, The Red Star, promises to be the culmination of ten years of experience at the forefront of his field. An epic mythology based on the Cold War, The Red Star follows the quest of Marcus Antares as he labors to free his nation from the vile legacy of Imbohl, the sorcerer whose insanity turned an entire nation's Utopian dreams into nightmarish tragedy.
